Has anyone ever added an extra person to room at check-in?

DS girlfriend has decided she is going to try to get up the money to go on vacation with us but will not know till the last minute. She is 15, so qualifies as a child. It will just be me, DH, DS and possibly her at WL. Hopefully we will get bunk beds, but taking an Aerobed along just in case. We are taking the Autotrain so have room for extras in the car. Everything else we are doing looks like we can add last minute but I wasn't sure about the hotel room.

Thanks!

As long as you are not on a package then I think you should be able to add her at check-in without a problem. Maybe even explain at check-in that is was last minute and could they put you in a room with bunk-beds. If you are on a package I am not sure how that would work.

We went in January this year and added my mother after we got there. Originally, it was just going to be me, DD and DGD. The CM at the front desk so nicely added her without a problem. Even giving her the rank of child, therefore, not adding anything to the original cost... What a wonderful place!!!!!!!!!!!

We once added my aunt when we checked in with no problems. She was only able to join us at the last minute. She was the 2nd adult, so there wasn't any kind of extra fee or anything.

My husband, youngest daughter, and I were booked at the Beach Club last summer. We weren't sure if our middle daughter would be able to come or not (she was attending a college program). Well, she made it. We added her upon arrival with no problem. Just make sure your hotel room will allow the amount of people you have arriving.

My mom decided to come with us after I already made our room reservation. I have not added her to the reservation yet, I can not see why they can't do it at check it.

We had a 3rd adult join us this spring at AKL...we jsut added her at check inn...there was no trouble.

But if your hoping for bunk beds I would call and add her now and request them ahead and tell them why. Theres not much room for a mattress on the floor at WL and i dont see any harm in adding her now since she is 15 and you wont be charged for her either way. Then even of she doesnt go you can ask at c/i for the queens...but if you get the bunks the rooms are a lot roomier!

Have a great time!
