Has anyone else tried for a 'Late Check-out' at Cypress Pointe Resort??

I wanted to find out if anyone else tried for a late check-out at the Cypress Pointe Resort? My sister and her family are there and asked for a late check-out and I guess she was told it would be $50.00 to check out late.
Did anyone else get charged?? Is this standard practice at this resort?
Usually if the room is available they give you a late check out without charging anything! I mean within reason...

lots of place in Orlando charge for a late check out.

it takes time to clean up those villa before the next guest checks in and with a late check out you are taking their time.

all of the timeshares in the area - either don't even offer a late check out or charge extra. It is common practice.

DVC resorts won't let you stay late regardless - they will store your luggage but you can't have a room after check out time period.
