I just called about AP rates for Dec 11-16th and was quoted higher rates for my dates than I have read on the post where everyone is telling what they got when the AP rates came out. Here is a sample of what I was quoted for 5 nights including tax:

AKL-Savannah View $1137 ($227 per night)
Yacht Cub- Standard Concierge $1779 ($355 per night)
Boardwalk Inn -Water View $1500 ($300 per night)
Poly - Garden View $1227 ($245 per night)

If you call several times, could you possibly get different rates?

Those don't look like AP rates.
Did they tell you those were the AP rates?
Or did they just quote you what was available....probably at rack rate?

I did have different rates quoted to me when I called back when the rack rates for 2004 were announced. Thanks to this and other boards I knew that the rates were incorrect so I politely ended the call and called back. The second CM was on the money. A good lesson in knowing your product before you buy. I just don't understand the misinformation coming from Disney's CM's???

I think I will call back. She insisted on getting my information even tho I was not booking right then. Will there be a question as to why I am calling back again and again?

I call back all the time if I know that the information given is incorrect. I called twice this week for the Candlelight Processional Package. The first CM said unavailable so I ended the call and called back immediately. You can guess the rest! I have my package!

Don't worry, BC. If that happens again, just politely end the call as soon as possible and redial. Sometimes you have to call 2 or 3 times before you find that magic CM who knows what s/he is doing and is willing to do a little hunting around for you.

Now you guys have me second guessing by reservation. When I made it, I thought the price was high, but I just figured it was because it is during peak season. I have a AAA room only revervation for April 5th through April 10th 2004 at CSR. Without the AAA discount, I was quoted $188 a night. With the AAA discount, I got it for $160 a night. I booked the $160 room in hopes of AP discounts for that time of year. Does this sound correct, or should I call back to see if I am quoted a lower rate?
