It is a TS, with the chef cooks at your table, it is a japanese steakhouse, the food was good but not enough for us to eat there again, we have had better back home
We eat at Tempura Kiku a lot. The seating is much like a sushi bar. Think of a box with seating on three sides with the Tempura cooks (and sushi chefs) in the center where they do the frying. You really can't see the actual fryers. Behind your chair there is enough space between your chair and the wall for a person to get by, but by much. My wife usually gets the tempura which is quite good while I usually order sushi.
If you want a more table like experience, the lounge now offers the same menu as Tempura Kiku. The tables are lounge table height though.
Tammyandtommy, no Tempura Kiku is in a seperate room than the japanese steakhouse rooms. Tempura Kiku serves tempura (fried vegetables and fried meats/seafood) along with sushi. It is located between the steakhouse rooms and the lounge at the front of the pavilion
The pictures in the thread that was linked to this thread is from the lounge portion of the pavilion. Until recently it was a true lounge where you just showed up and grabbed any available table and got a menu different than Tempura Kiku's (except for the sushi menu). Now you check in with the same hostess as Tempura Kiku's to get seated in either area.
