we had to make our flight 1 day earlier then check in at POR so we are staying at an airport hotel untill the next morning{disney could not get us a room}we called ME and they told us no problem just not to use the yellow tickets,make sure we pick up luggage and then return the next morning with passes for the bus and check in at the ME desk and we could board the bus with our luggage.....
has anyone had a problem with this?there will be 9 of us going to pop and por....

I may be doing this. I could only get a cheap ding flight for Friday so I booked it at 49/pp. My ressies are for Sat so if I can't get a room at Disney then we will do this exact thing. Let me know how it goes and may I ask which Hotel you are staying at?? I know there are a few the have free shuttles to and from the airport.

It's no problem at all. There have been a lot of people that have done this. Just do not use the yellow luggage tags. When you land at MCO, go and claim all your checked bags, go to your hotel. Then, in the morning, head back to MCO, go to the DME welcome desk on the lowest level, checkin with them, get into the appropriate bus line. Your bags will be put underneath the bus.
