Has anyone done the River Belle Terrace brunch Fantasmic package?

I've only ever done the River Belle Terrace premium package but I'm considering the brunch this time. My questions:

Was the food good and can you order off the regular menu?
How was your view and how early did you line up for the show?
Is standing an option? (I have a terrible back and can't sit on the ground for even a few minutes.)

Thanks!

We did it once back in 2022. It was hard to secure but I really wanted it for my husband who walks on prosthetics so I felt like the table and chairs would be great, and that aspect was.
But do know that you check in around 7pm I believe for the 7:15 reservation. So it’s a really, really long time that you’re there on the patio.

Apparently, they already have which table each party will be assigned to. We really wanted a spot along the rail so we were one of the first to check in, in hindsight maybe it was around 6:45 PM and I guess we weren’t assigned to a railing table but the cast member made sure we got that one.

I think the most important thing to know is that it’s a really long experience and the view is subpar. You’re viewing the show off from the side from an angle. In addition to that guests are still walking along the walkway in between River Bell Terrace’s patio and the banks of the river. All the while cast members are directing foot traffic with a light up batons. So it was a little distracting.
You want me to worry about standing because you’re sitting the entire time and that part is the best part.
Here are some pictures of our food and the views. The food options have changed, but what we had was incredible, I liked every bit of it and I wish they kept those offerings.
Last October when we did fantasmic again, we opted for one of the dining packages with ground seating, and it was actually really good experience
Maybe we will do the terrace again but we aren’t even talking about doing it in July

You will be allowed to stand at the back of the reserved seating. If you are standing there would really be no rush to get there early as you aren’t fighting for a spot at the front.

We did brunch on the first day that Fantasmic returned on May 24, 2024. I posted about it here.

They walk people to the roped off seating area at 7:45 pm. When you talk about "good seats" what are you looking for? Do you want to be next to the fence or within the first couple of rows? Are you looking to sit closer to center stage or does that not matter? Since you will be there during the 70th, the crowds may be thinner because of multiple shows every evening.

I did it, food and service was abismal.
I won't do it again.

We decided on the Rancho QS one this time.

You have to sit, we got inflatable cushions from amazon (i have a bad back) and it was fine.
Viewing was fine, we had a great spot.

Thanks! I'll look into those cushions. I've always loved Rancho Del Z so I'll look into that one, too.

My main goal is not having to stake out a spot for hours. Back in the olden days I liked to watch from the Pirates bridge but I don't want to stand around for that long because of my back. Standby just doesn't seem like a great option anymore. I'm assuming the dining package views will be better than the RBT premium package since we'll be closer to the water.

Where do you go at 7:45? Hopefully I can show up closer to 9. Maybe 8:30? I'm going to ask to stand in the back because I can't sit on the ground. Or I might try asking for the Harbor Galley seats but I bet those go fast.

Cafe Orleans sits in the middle. RB sits stage left and RdZ sits stage right. RB is $58 per person and RdZ is $35 per person. Personally, if I were going to pay $58, I would do Cafe Orleans.

You meet near Harbour Galley (across from the HM exit). That is the only entrance into the seating area. Read through the Fantasmic thread about the line up process.

You can arrive as late as you want. The problem is that people fill up the space that is available and CM have to ask them to move forward in order to squeeze late arrivals in the back. Sometimes people scoot forward. By 8:30-8:45, people are pretty settled into their space and don't tend to move very much. I don't know how many people are in your party or if you are solo. Also, take into consideration that it will start to get dark after 8 pm. The Fantasmic thread has a lot of information. I did this when it first opened when Fantasmic came back. I thought the food was meh.. I did it because it was the reservation I could get for opening day.

The same trip I also did rancho- thought it was a much better value. Not brunch option tho.

Thanks! There will be 4 people. We're already eating at Blue Bayou that day so I wanted something different.

Thanks! I always loved having breakfast at RBT back in the day so I want to try the brunch. I love being out on the patio in the morning and watching ROA etc :)

I didn’t do brunch but I’ve done the River Belle Fantasmic package a few times over the years and it was fine. The food is not my style, it’s very heavy food, lots of fried things and just a Southern style food that I don’t prefer but that being said, I felt the food was acceptable and portions were large.

I prefer the Rancho Del Zocalo package, I think it’s a better value and I enjoyed the food. Would I order that food on its own without a package? No. But I did feel like the RDZ is a good value, there’s a lot of food and all the foods I’ve tried are pretty tasty.

To me, all the sections have great views. Within each section can try to sit as close to the center edge of the section as you can, which gives you a better view. But all the views are preferable to staking out a standby spot and standing for the show.
