Hi so we're going to Orlando to do Disney and universal this December,
Probably from the 14th till the 1St 2nd of December.
Were staying offsite ( at the moment) at Emerald Isle, in a condo but haven't stayed offsite in 11yrs,
So I also put down a deposit on a family suite at Aoa for our last 10 days with free US dining.
However that's going to be an extra £7000!! Ontop which is crazy money, as there is 6 of us this trip.
So we may well stick with offsite which scares me alot at this time of year....
Anyway trying to sort out of plans for Xmas and new years,
Right now we have rose and Crown for lunch Xmas day,
And california grill for Xmas day dinner.
Now New years, we have yachtsman steak house, for dinner, and plan was to go to into Epcot for the fireworks at midnight.
But I've heard of a few party's with buffets that happen at the universal resorts, and wondered if anyone had done them? My boys are 12,12,15 on this trip and will want to stay up, but my mum is 83! ( not sure if she will come to any) so was thinking a buffet, with added dessert party and dj etc at Rpr sounds pretty good, plus I'd book a room so I wouldn't have to drive anywhere after.
Has anyone done any of these?
Or maybe any of the ones at Disney ( apart from the ($650pp) one at california grill, I'm definitely not paying that lol.
