Has anyone done the Mickey & Pals Fireworks Voyage?

T-Rex Build-A-Bear? Where is this? Tell me more please. Sorry to hijack this thread. :rolleyes1

Like I need something else to add to my ever growing list! I've also got the barber shop, $50 gift cards each, Kitchen Sink, hot air balloon ride at DTD (if they still have it when we go), pick a Pearl and some of the stuff you mentioned on my list. We also have breakfast at Ohana they they don't know about with just Aunt Chell & Uncle Larry while the mommies sleep in. After that we are taking them to the MK.

But it is fun! Seeing their faces light up when we talk about the plans right now makes my heart melt. I'm only telling them a few things. They don't have a clue what we have planned for them. The youngest would LOVE this cruise.
At the T-rex rest. in DTD. It's in the gift shop area. We r waiting to see what the weather is like after we eat at T-Rex so maybe we can do the balloon ride after dinner/bear making. Enjoy your time with the kids! That's so nice of you to let the mommies sleep in!:littleangel:

No, you don't need children to do this.:) There were actually more adults than kids on our boat. One man I chatted with said his wife had surprised him with the cruise for their anniversary (no kids).

The fireworks are beautiful when reflecting on the water. The piped in music was high quality...better than the regular Wishes Cruise we did last Oct. on a smaller boat which had static noises during the show. Last year we also saw the Electrical Water Pageant on the regular Wishes Cruise...but there was no music synced with the show like they did on this Pirate cruise.

Also pay attention when you're cruising back and forth from the Contemporary to the Seven Seas Lagoon. You pass OVER the highway. A water bridge OVER a highway. Very cool.

Sidenote: we did Build-a-Bear too at T-REX. Grandkids loved it. Used Landry gift cards.

Wow! This is the first I've heard of this! Are the Peter Pan characters always there? My 4 year old daughter is OBSESSED with Peter Pan these days and this might be neat way to make sure we see them.

Unless they change their format, Peter Pan should be waiting at the dock when you return. My grandson said he was holding a lantern with Tink in it but I missed that part. His eyes are better than mine. The kids had great interaction with Peter. So much so that the CM had to give the 'move on signal' to Peter since he was so chatty and others were waiting.

Capt Hook and Smee also walk with the groups down to the marina dock and wave you off as you're leaving.

We combined this night with an ADR at Chef Mickeys which worked out nicely.

That's great to hear! We are doing the Pirate League@ 2, Chef Mickey's @ 5:15 then we need to be meet for the cruise @ 6:45. I figured hte boys would like to look like a pirate for the voyage and then we can use their costumes on Pirate Night on the cruise. One less thing to pack!:yay:

Thank you! We will have to do this when we take them for the balloon ride.

My DH and I took my nephew to Disney several times when he was younger. He is now 20 and still talks about the great times we had! I told him I'll get even by taking him with us next year. He can now take my 7 year old on all the rides I endured with him.:rotfl: My sister still talks how everyone went back to take naps, except for her son and his aunt-we were always doing the fun things. Those times create the best memories! Enjoy!:grouphug:
