We are trying to plan our get away (and looking hard) to save a couple of $$. I've read on other boards about Caribbean duck tours in St. Maarten and it sounds great but would like to know if anyone here has experience with their kids on this excursion. One person said kids under 10 ride free which suits us perfectly, but that ends in April??? Any info... Anyone know the web site? Thanks-

Caribbean Duck Tours, N.V. is in business. They're located opposite Guavaberry on Front Street. Arcade #8 (right on the beach). Phone: 552-3510; www.caribbeanducktours.com.

Details: length 39 feet, width, 8.5' height 12'4" seats 49. "This will not be the typical tour," the owners say.
" This is more of a group participation party/entertainment. Everyone gets a duck quacker when they board. Our conDUCKtor is an island entertainer, and will sing, dance, invite guest participation using their quacker. The land portion travels the route from our Front Street location, over the hill to Cole Bay when we will enter the water for about 15 minutes in Simpson Bay Lagoon. Then back over the hill stopping at the lookout, down the new link and back to our location. (We hope to be adding a Great Bay water point for the finale.) We are located opposite Guavaberry in that arcade on the water. We do offer a full bar, specializing in frozen rum drinks for only $4. Food wise it's burgers, hotdogs, chicken breasts served with chips." --Alex Betke

Sounds really Fun!
