Has anyone done Pirates cruise or Illuminations cruise

Just curious about those two ..how much are they..and did you enjoy them.

I did an Illuminations Cruise last September with another DIS member. She booked it though.

I believe the cost was $120 plus tip.

We really enjoyed it. Our Captain was Nicole and she was very friendly and full of Disney knowledge. We had a great spot to watch the fireworks and really enjoyed being that close to the display. I highly recommend it!

We did an Illuminations cruise 11/03. I booked it and I got 4 other DIS members to join us and share the cost. Price was $120 plus we tipped the captain $20 or $25. We split the cost evenly between everyone on the boat.

We loved our cruise. It is one of those hidden gems of Disney, something most folks don't know exists. I didn't until a couple of years ago. And as a frequent visitor, its always nice to find something new to do.

The best part of our cruise was shortly after we left the dock, the captain asked my daughter if she wanted to drive. She was shocked and thrilled. The grin on her face when she took the helm was worth the $120 to DW and I.

Very enjoyable and relaxing evening. Plus, its a great way to meet other DIS members.

You anchor under the bridge between France and UK so no, you aren't closer than other people. There are guests standing directly above you on the bridge.
As for romantic, absolutely!

No, you're not closer than anyone else but you also won't have people standing in front of you blocking your view either.

It really is a wonderful time.
