Has anyone done cloth diapers at Disney?

Any tips or tricks? My friends LO is allergic to disposables so she doesn't have that option.

There have been posts about this (one fairly recently that resulted in the OP getting some g-diapers, the sort of throwaway/keep hybrid that sounds like a pain to me but not to others), so if search is working that might be helpful!

I have only done day trips to DLR with cloth, but we've done other trips (including camping) to non Disney places that were longer. Not all that much different from being at home, but she will want a good wetbag situation for the dirties unless she wants to go back to the room very very often.

Hope she has fun! I adore cloth dipes and it's nice to know that others use them too. Your friend's situation is the same that my mom was in, by the way...my baby-butt just couldn't deal with the plastic dipes.

I use cloth too, but I haven't tried it at Disney, so I had no idea what to suggest.:rotfl:

there was a recent thread on it...

We just use our Fuzzi Bunz as usual, and wash every couple days, (early morning for me, but, I get it done in an hour or so)

We also have used the G-diapers, which still have washable parts, but, the main part it a biodegradable/flushable insert

Also, the Gro-Baby diapers have reusable and biodegradable parts too.

We will be on our first trip in May, so I don't have experience with it yet. We typically use fitteds, pockets & AIOs... but I think we'll stick to pockets (BG or Rumparooz) for our WDW vacation and take some fleece liners (just buy fleece at the fabric store and cut it into strips) that I will throw away when she has a bowel movement. Be sure to take plenty of wet bags :)

I did last time. Packed them all in a suitcase, used them, tossed them in a bag when we were done, then washed them about mid week and right before we left. worked great!

I would say if you don't want to wash, then try gDiapers or if you are okay with accumulating a weeks worth of diaper laundry and have some seriously awesome wetbags then go that route, otherwise I would think it would be business as usual in terms of just washing mid-week.

We just got back this afternoon. We CD'd our almost 2 yo the 15 days we were in WDW. I brought only AIO's and pockets, and a large drawstring wetbag and smaller zippered bag. I washed as needed. Easy peasy, same as if we were home.

I haven't cloth diapered at WDW, but I have on several other vacations. Just do it like you would at home. Use a wet bag, wash as needed, wash again right before you go home. Have a nice trip!

Great! I'll let her know just to bring a few wetbags and plan to wash as usual :)

Thanks! And I'm glad to see some other CDers here!
