kids?? Well I guess my kids are older (15yo and 9yo) but still.....

found an amazing price for our flight for our Alaska cruise ($240PP taxes in) from BUF to SEA but the only catch is it leaves BUF at 7:30pmish and lands in SEA at midnight (3am our time) - it would be on the Friday and cruise doesn't leave until the Sunday so we would have time to catch up before cruising as we have a quiet day planned in Seattle before the cruise and are just planning on doing a duck tour that afternoon. Then coming home the flight leaves SEA at midnight, lands at ORD at 5:30am (3.5 hr flight) then finally lands in BUF at 9:45am.

Just not sure how the kids would handle the flight - to do a daytime flight it's $100 PP more plus we would probably need a hotel the sunday night. :confused3 Not concerned about the money but I'd prefer to save what I can and spend it on shore excursions..... oh what do I do???:confused3

We have done a midnight flight from LAX to YYZ, when the kids were 3 and 5. It was great for the kids as they slept the whole way and were well rested. Me and my husband on the other hand did not sleep that well and wanted to rest when we got home, so that was the hard part- wide awake kids and exhausted parents.... Since your kids are older they could look after themselves while you rested so it would not be that big deal.
