Has anyone done an All Inclusive at Mr Sanchos Beach Club recently?

It is a Cozumel activity under consideration. I am very interested in hearing your thoughts. Especially if you had children between 3 and 10 years old with you.

The most recent posts I can find are from 2016.

Some of my specific questions are:

What time of year did you visit?

Did you bring towels from the ship?

Did you do the guided ATV tour? Or the Aqua Park? Or other activities that you would recommend.

How crowded was it?

And finally- did you think it was worth it?

Thank you for your help!

Hi

We were there late November
No kids
We loved it
Hubby did the horse riding
There were a few inflatables in the sea but not many
There was buffet food or order from menu
Cocktails lovely
We were on a different cruise line
I think we took towels from the ship
Hoping to go again this year when on Disney

We went with our (at the time) 7 and 4 year old during early March (first weeks of spring break). We got there super early due to an early onshore time, and a time change. We had a blast the first several hours. The kids loved the pool, and the food and drinks were great. We didn't do any of the extra activities, but the beach area is nice. As it got later in the day, a "spring break" crowd started to trickle in, and it started to get wilder. When we saw a young girl puking poolside, we knew it was time to go haha. With that being said, we enjoyed it enough where we went back our next cruise in June. We just figured we'd leave kind of early again. We got there around 10am, and the gates were locked. The resort was already at capacity for the day. Our cab driver suggested Paradise Beach. I'm not sure if they have an "all inclusive", but it is 3 dollars per person for entrance, and food and drinks are a la carte. It was absolutely fantastic. The pool was about 4 times as large as Mr. Sanchos, and super clean. There was a much more relaxed "family vibe". The 3rd time we went to Cozumel, we opted for Paradise Beach again. They have almost everything Sanchos has. I suggest you check out their website.

Thank you so much for this info. It has great reviews on Trip Advisor.

From their website it appears that both the horse riding and ATV options are guided. Did your husband have a chance to do his own thing? Or did he have to follow the guide the entire time?

How warm was the water? We will be there near the end of October.

Thank you for this info. I will check out Paradise Beach. Though there won’t be any Spring breakers there in October, we will be on a cruise ship with about 3,000 other folk.

You mentioned the pool at Paradise Beach was super clean - did you find the pool at Mr Sancho´s dirty? That could be a deal breaker, because if the waves are strong, we will be in the pool with the kids.

Do you remember how far Paradise Beach is from the cruise terminal? We would need to factor that in.

And do you remember if they had lockers available?

Yes to the lockers. I don't remember if they charged for them or not. It's not so much that Sancho's pool is dirty, just more that Paradise Beach is spectacular. I believe they claim it is the largest pool in Cozumel. Heated to 82 degrees. Beautiful blue tile which makes it sparkle. Sanchos pool is...well...a pool. A nice pool..but a pool (with a swim up bar).

I will say, though, regardless of time of year, Sanchos is known as more of a "party" place (due to the all you can drink), and Paradise tends to attract more families. Regardless, you will have fun either way, but it is something to think about with your young ones.

They are very close to each other...about 15 minutes from the port. I think Sanchos might be a mile or two farther away.

Again, thank you for the info. And some of the pics of the PB pool are spectacular. Some of the adults are attracted by the ATVs and wave runners. Maybe we will split up.
