Has anyone here done a VIP tour at Universal Studios? Was it worth it? What happened? and what did it include?

Any other "special" options for something to do at Universal?

See many things in park without a single line, receive water, coffee, free medium drink, DVD, Special Edition CD, lanyard and VIP credential that affords a ten percent discount on merch and 15 percent discount on sit down restaurants. Also go in several "non-public" areas.

Phone number to call-407-363-8295.

I've done it, Puffy, before all the cool extras and it was WELL WORTH the money, IMHO! :teeth:

There is nothing like the VIP treatment you get on this tour. It's amazing all the information you learn, also. And as mentioned somewhere before, it's the only TRUE FOTL! :bounce:

Hi ROBIN! It's been awhile since we have crossed paths. How are you?

I'm taking a trip (I hope ; if those discounts ever come out for late Feb.) with my sister and a cousin and I really wanted to show them all the "neat" stuff at Universal - I want it to be a special experience where they go home thinking "wow". I'm trying to book a club level room at one of the resorts (can't afford those rack rates though) and I thought about renting a cabana one afternoon at either hard rock or portofino bay and I was thinking perhaps the VIP tour one day would be something good to do (but is it worth $300.00 or so that I'll have to pay for since I wanted it to be a surprise of sorts).

What do you think? I was thinking of doing the one at the Studios since I'm not big on thrill rides like they have at IOA.

Also, Robin, do you think Airtran will have any discounts for late Feb.? Their rates are pretty high too for that time of year - much higher than I'm used to paying when I go off season. I thought you had a friend that worked there?
Anything else you can tell me about the tour? Any other suggestions for surprises? etc...

Puffy-

Hopefully, that answers your questions.

ROBIN!

Hey there. You coming back soon? Let me know so I can tell the dockmasters!

:P

I've done the VIP tour during HHN last year and it was well worth the money. If you can afford it, then do it! :)
