Has anyone done a pre-wedding trip for an intimate?

We are thinking of going to Disney two months before the wedding for a weekend to maybe meet with Reverend Tim and shop DTD for our cake cutting set, favors, etc.
Has anyone else done this for an intimate? And if so, what else did you do during that time? I've already gotten pics myself of SBP.

I met with my EM Lynn about 5 months before the wedding. It was great, she gave me some new ideas and what the day would be like.
