Has anyone dealt with

their child and Severs Disease?

My son's foot has been causing him pain on and off for a few weeks, since the weekend extremely painful.

PCP is sending him to a Podiatrist this Thursday, with suspected Sever's Disease.

It is a limited condition, meaning the pain should stop when the bones in his feet have finally stopped growing.

He is nervous about possbily no PE or sports for months or a possible cast going into summer.

I was just looking for anyone who has experinced it. Poor guy just seem to have one thing after another.

Well DS9 x-ray showed positive for Severs, plus a "possible" fracture.

He will have plates put in his shoes. No running for 1 month-YIKES, that should be fun to enforce. No "long" walks, so here's to hoping (which it should be) to being able to do "long" walks for our Disney trip in Sept.

Organized sports looks like they are out for the immediate future as well.
