I am hoping this is not like the topic of everyone's conversation on this forum, but, has anyone dared to NOT use the fastpass plus system?

why would you give up an advantage? Even a small one. FP+ may not be perfect but why?

Maybe it's just the runner in me, I'm not a great runner, but I'm not going to carry 2#s of gear. It's a small advantage but I'm not going to do it if I can avoid it.

You would be doing so to your own detriment. They have siphoned off the majority of each ride's daily capacity for FP+. You would have just volunteered to let 70-90% of that ride's capacity cut in line ahead of you for the day.

our first trip 3 years ago we didn't use fast pass at all,i know it isn't fast plus but we still managed to get on all the rides we wanted to.
The reason we didn't use fp was because by 11 am or so all the fast passes for the day were gone. At DL they never run out of FP,at least I have never seen it.I was quite shocked by it.

also at DL they will honor a FP after its expired time, even from 10 hours ago.

This trip we are using fast pass plus but don't really like having make an appointment for a ride.

They actually stopped doing that February 2013.

DOH!
really? what a shame,we used to have that placed wired for fast passes.we would grab some every time we were allowed to and hold them for later.

And as of earlier this summer, RSR is no longer disconnected.
