Since our trip is "only" 4 months away, I was looking at the grocery listings. It has a case of Dasani water listed at $6.39, but it says 12 oz bottles. 12 oz bottles???? I never knew water bottles came in a 12 oz size. Can anyone confirm the size?

12 oz is lame! Sadly I can neither confirm nor deny.

Piggybacking onto your post: Can one buy a case of water at the Boardwalk general store?

A month ago I bought a case of 12oz Dasani bottles at the Boardwalk screen door, and it was probably $6.50 appx

Thanks! I still think 12 oz is lame :thumbsup2but this is probably what I will do instead of ordering groceries.

:flower1:and cheaper to buy 24 x 12oz instead of paying $2.50 ea for 20oz. With 3 kids in our party it was actually a good deal for us

You can also walk across from BW to the Speedway (formerly know as Hess), or over to the Speedway (also formerly know as Hess) across from Disney Springs (formerly known as Downtown Disney Marketplace) to buy a case of water if you are willing to carry it a few hundred yards.

Staples or Costco many times shipping is free or not too expensive.

But when you stay at a resort with a conference center, you have to pay a fee at the resort if you have packages delivered, which would negate most if not all of the savings.

Thanks for the replies. I usually just throw some empty water bottles into the suitcase. Filled them at disney with either crystal light or getting lemonade using our mug and then freeze them for the parks. For $6.50, it was getting to a "do I want to go thru the hassle" situation. Just wanted to make sure of the size since I never heard of 12 oz bottles.

Yes, learned this the hard way at BLT when we had to pay to start the BLT Christmast Tree exchange - we were the first group to get the tree.

We finally simply purchased a camelback water bottle with charcoal filter. We just fill it up wherever we are and it works great. If it's summer, we fill it with ice and it melts quickly. If it's January, mix ice and water.
We have two between the 3 of us.

I always buy a 24-pack of the little waters (usually pre-order with the grocery form before arriving), they're great for carrying around the parks. Freeze half.

We stayed at Saratoga Springs for 4 nights before moving over to Grand Floridian villas. No cases of water at Saratoga, but we bought a case at GFVs.

Are the necks of a 12 oz bottle the same as the 16 oz? I'm wondering if it would fit the mickey bottle carrier thing I have. It's has a rubber ring that loops over the neck of the bottle.

Formerly Exxon ;) (sorry couldn't resist)

This was a timely post. I was trying to do the math on how much water we'd need for our 8 adult 2 kid group in our villa for a week and it was mind-boggling. (2x waters/day for park use ONLY x 10 people x 7 days = 140 bottles or 11 12-packs!). We're trying to think now about Brita pitchers, gallon jugs, bottles that filter, etc.

Would a PUR thingy fit on the faucet?

I just know the taste is memorably bad and we'll be drinking a lot of water...otherwise we'd definitely be using tap. That said, we're spoiled with pretty tasty tap water here in MN. Ugh!
