I am not sure what you are asking. I have POR booked for Nov through the Best Rate Program and I have AKL booked for our Jan 2006 trip through the best rate program.

I mean - did you book one resort for XX dates and then call and try to change (upgrade though) resorts?

I did. I'm doing a split stay, and for the last couple of nights of our reservation, was originally booked at POFQ. Based on it just being a few nights, and those lovely Christmas decorations just calling my name, we switched a few mere days before the 120-day window was up to the BWI.

My TA handled making the switch for us, but she reported no problems. No change fees.
