I would never book a cruise on the internet, I like talking face to face with a travel agent who can give me advice and if there is any problems they totally take care of them. A human being is always better than a computer if you are planning an elaborate vacation. I may get flack for this but it is just my opinion.

Hi:

I just booked a trip through travelocity.com for a 7 night September 2003 cruise. I have always booked airfare through the internet. I have found this forum to be very useful in getting any questions I have answered and sometimes better than a travel agent.

I also find that if I get a quote from a travel agent or some other service there is about a 10-15% increase in charges due to their fees.

In the end I would always check more than one source and just pick the best price. Works for me.
