Has anyone booked ME through MS yet?

I think I remember someone saying that we would be able to book our Magical Express ride through Member Services in March. Are they taking reservations for it yet? Or should we be calling Disney directly.

Acutually, I think it's not until MAY. Not sure though if they're taking ressie's for it yet. HTH's

I know that the 'regular' folks (non-DVC) have been able to call and make their reservations now for their trips after May. I do realize that it doesn't start until May 5, but had read someplace that Member Services would be taking our reservation requests for Magical Express but they weren't set up for it at that particular point. I believe someone was told that starting in March we could call MS and they would make them for us.

There were a couple of threads last week about ppl bookin DME already thru MS. One person said it was fast and easy, the other had a more complicated time doing it, but eventually got everything set up fine. When I was on the phone with MS last week, I was told that they had all had training on DME and could set us up any time. What you will need is: your resort ressie #, the names (and I imagine addresses) of the members of your party using DME and the flight numbers and times of your flights. Not too hard, it would seem.

I just booked the Magical Express through Member Services for my trip in May. All I had to give them was my arrival time and flight number and departure time and flight number. I'll get the packet in the mail 21 days before my departure day. It was quick, easy, painless, and FREE!

Thanks guys. I just got off the phone with MS. I could be wrong but I think I was the first time for the lady I got!! She literally talked her way through the process. It did seem kind of convoluted to me, listening to her. And then I go and have to tell her..'well, 2 of us are leaving on that date, but dh is leaving 4 days earlier.' Add that to the fact that we will be departing from a different resort than our arrival one and well, that lady certainly had a learning experience. But, it all looks good to go now. Now, we'll just sit and wait, somewhat impatiently, for late May to get here and our packet to arrive!!!
