As a last minute kind of thing, my mother bought us tickets to tomorrow night's show in Lexington. I'm pretty excited but am wondering what to expect. I think I may have seen DOI 25 years or so ago(if they even did it back then:rotfl2: ) but I certainly can't remember. Hopefully it will entertain my 2 and 3 year olds. I was also wondering if they will have a ton of Disney souvenirs that will make the kids go crazy? We won't have much to spend but might be able to get them something small. And, will they have any Disney snacks for sale? I know they probably won't, but wouldn't Mickey bars be awesome? Thanks for any advice.

There are lots of different characters. It is fun, they are all fun. Nothing is cheap or small and no mickey bars. Toys run $15-$20 minimum.

We went a few weeks ago...the kids( and I) really enjoyed it, even my 1 yo DD.
There are the Fab 5, a lot of Princesses, Nemo, Icredibles, the '' It's a Small world '' part was really cute. Nothing is cheap!!! Cotton Candy was $10....
Have a good time!!!

OMG!!!:scared1: I can't believe stuff is that expensive!!We're going to be in trouble.

The show was very good. You guys will have a great Disney fix. The Small World segment is really pretty. There were lots of different characters-all the ones mentioned already and Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket...just trying to remember off the top of my head, as we went back in October. We got the CD and a program, but that was it. Some people recommend waiting until after the show to buy, saying that prices on certain things go down, but I don't know for a fact if that is so. You'll have a nice time, even if you don't buy anything.

Thanks for the info. I'm sure we'll have a great time-even on a low budget.

Yes, you will have a great time.

They do have so much stuff that you can buy but don't if you don't want to. I got my son things because he was having a birthday soon.

The show is great, I went to in DC. I had to leave early because my son had a cold and wasn't feeling well.

Is the show at Rupp Arena??

I miss Kentucky!!

It is a good show, loved the IASW part.
We saw last year with our Girl Scout troop.
Wanted to go this year, but they are running the same show here, which makes no sense.

We brought in juice boxes and snacks for the troop and noone said anything.
They did have commemorative patches that were nice and reasonably priced.
And I bought cotton candy for my troop to share, I believe it was $5 a bag.
