I was thinking of doing the Pooh meal on our trip--find out that CP is still closed. And the price is $16 for adults (IF it hasn't increased). Is the pre-plated meal they are serving at Tony's location worth the $$? We don't really need to do any character meals (we've done Chef Mickey's every trip but we need to give it a rest) but I kind of wanted to do a non-fab five meal. I was waffling between Pooh at MK or the Cape May meal since we haven't tried that one.

I just got home from WDW and had breakfast at Tony's with Pooh and the gang. I am not into character meals, but this one was very nice. The 8 of us were seated at one table in the glassed-in area and the meal was presented as "all you care to eat." There is a healthy version and a normal version. We had the tasty one ;)

We had orange juice, cinnamon buns (warm and yummy), eggs, bacon, sausage, a hashed brown potato dish with Asiago cheese that was wonderful, and a platter of Italianized French toast. It was plain French toast with berries and a sweet marscapone cheese driaaled over it, like icing. All in all, a very nice breakfast. I think it was worth the money paid too.

Hi,
We did the Pooh lunch at Tony's one day without a PS.
We were able to just walk in.
We wanted to take a break from the heat.

It was all you could eat but not a buffet.
The kids picked a meal and it came with a drink and a cookie for dessert.
My DH and I got to choose an appetizer, main meal and a dessert and they would bring you as many plates as you wanted.
The food was italian. I had a vegetable pasta and DH had chicken parmesan. Portions were very filling.
Kids both had buttered noodle, but there were choices of spaghetti, ravioli, and I think pizza. No chicken or grilled cheese.
Dessert was tiramisu and cheesecake both of which were excellent. I think there were also 2-3 other choices.
The characters came around to the tables.
The waiters celebrated kids bdays, anniversaries, etc. by announcing them loudly and having all the kids swing their napkins.
All in all, it was a good experience.
