Has anyone been to Gullivers?
When I was making reservations it was recommended - was told Timon and Pumba would be there.......
Is it good?
Is it a buffet or do you order off the menu???

We went to Gulliver's in July. We had Pluto and Goofy for our characters (I think there are different characters different days of the week).
DH had the buffet--he said he wished he had ordered off the menu. My sister and her family ordered pizzas off the menu--they were huge and my sister said they were delicious.
I had Filet mignon, I believe (it was steak of some kind). It was excellant!

If you have a Disney Club card or a DVC membership, you receive 20% off your bill.

Is Gulliver's for breakfast or are you speaking about a dinner buffet? Is this the restaurant that offers different buffets like seafood, pasta, american on different nights? I might be getting my restaurants mixed up.

I'd love to hear more about Gulliver's. Is it in the Swan or Dolphin? Thanks

Boy did I LOVE that coupon too We probably wouldn't have known about or thought to try Gulliver's without it. It was a great meal. The atmosphere was very nice, it was uncrowded so the characters spent lots of time with the kids and the food (we ordered ala carte off the menu) was excellent as was the service.

wdwnut61, I'm pretty sure that the restaurant that you are speaking of is Gulliver's. It's located at the Swan. They have a breakfast buffet and a buffet at dinner or you may order off the menu. The characters vary. Hope this helps some.

What is Rita's book with the $50.00 coupon. We are just back from swan and wished we had the coupon. We ate at the breakfast buffet - was great, it you are a small breakfast eater than 13.95 is alot. Great omelets.

They have characters at the dinner buffet. One nice thing is they have a special buffet just for the kids with several kid choices, desserts and blue jello. The kids can also eat off the adult buffet if they wish. I liked the selection on the adult buffet--pasta and seafood. A step above the average buffet, but maybe not as good as ordering from the menu.

The coupon mentioned isn't available anymore It was in Rita Aero's WDW guidebook a few years ago. It was good for $50.00 off dinner at Gulliver's.

The $50 coupon was a great deal. We last dined there last summer. They were featuring a seafood buffet that night with crab legs. It had a small salad bar,clam chowder, steamed and fried shrimp, a few fish dishs, and other items. It was a good deal with the 20% off. You could also order off the menu. Timon and Rafiki were supposed to be there but only Timon showed up while we were there. It wasn't a giant buffet but adequate. Ate there at opening time so everything was very fresh. They make their desserts on premises(at least they used to) and they were wonderful.
