Has Anyone Been To Ghirardelli's Lately?

For the holidays, they have this awesome Peppermint Bark Sundae! It has peppermint ice cream, chocolate chip mint ice cream, hot fudge, whip cream, a cherry and a piece of their peppermint bark! OMG, it is wonderful!

OK, anyone headed to Ghiardelli's soon: PLEASE find out when/if this is going to be discontinued. I'll be checking into SSR on 1/1, and this sounds like an excellent way to start my vacation!

Yes its an awesome sundae and you can also buy the chocolate squares FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY, I think they said they 'disappear' in January so stock up and buy some for home! If you go to the Ghirardelli web site, you can order them, or if you're close to Target, they're selling the chocolates with a special holiday package too! YUM!

I most certainly have had this sundae. In fact, I had twice during the Thanksgiving week. Some people have complained lately that they do not put enough hot fudge on your sundae. I agree with the assessment, so I always ask for more on the side and they have always given it to me at no charge.

My DH and I are heading up tomorrow for a long weekend and Ghiradelli is always a must-do for us every trip! I know my husband will be having the peppermint sundae. It sounds heavenly! I will try to remember to ask how long it will be offered.

Now I'm hungry!

If you go to the ghiradelli's web site and sign up for the newsletter they will email you a coupon for a half price sundae. I did it last month. It was a little tricky to find the place to sign up for it, but the coupon came within a few days. I learned about it from a post on budget(?) board.
