I'd like to hear from anyone who has been to one. What services do they offer? Did you think it was worth it? My niece is going to be 12 in a few weeks and this seems like something she would love.

It's actually more for the younger set -- I'd say 10 an under. It's pretty much OVER for that once you hit middle school.

YMMV though.

Yes, I think it would be too young for her. My DD8 almost 9 is just about too old for it. The styles are like princess, diva, etc Check out their website!

All of the kids I know that have had parties there are 6-8 years old. It's a little too hoochie for my taste.

yep.. total hoochie party lol

My dd has gone 2 times and I think she is just about done with it. I think 12 would be to old. They do have a website and you can see all of the styles.

Libby Lu is definitely too young for her... If you want to do something like that you could take her out to a real nail place to get mani/pedi 's...my 13 y.o. cousin loves doing stuff like that.

My kids loved it! It was quick and easy; they do make up and hair, and you can pick out an outfit (optional). If you decide to go, it's important to make an appointment first (it gets busy).

some people are saying 12 is too old. 12 is not too old at all. I got to club libby lu all the time. I am 12 years old and will be 13 in May. Me and my friends(12,13,14) go to club libby lu like once every couple months. we have sooo much fun!!!! i emailed club libby lu throught customeer service once asking what the appropiate age range it and the lady told me 8-15 is their main ages.

I have seen many older peole there(like 17) getting makeovers.

you can go to clublibbylu.com to see everything they have there, It is my favorite place to go

i dont think `12 is too old. I love going there and a lot of people older than 12 go there

That store is like crack for little girls! ;) My DD practically goes into a trance when she hits the doorway... "Must have glittery makeup! Must have glittery makeup!"

I guess it depends on the 12 year old - mine would be horrified!:scared1: However, my dd would LOVE a nice mani-pedi, or a little makeover, with subtle makeup - she's not into the dress-up stuff like her 5 and 6 year old sisters.

I took her a couple of weeks ago. She got the hairstyle with the crown and loved it! She wants to go back and get the Hannah Montana package :)

We just passed through one at Disneyland, and nothing appealed to my DD8 who had pretty much free reign that evening
