Has anyone been rained out at Sea Breeze Point before?

I noticed that July is the rainest month of the year and our wedding is scheduled for Sea Breeze Point. Has anyone ever had their wedding rained out there before? Was the "back-up" location nice? I will be praying that it doesn't rain. I was told that Florida showers usually pass through pretty quickly. Anyone have any experience with a rainout?

I am getting married there in a few days, the back up room for us is a ballroom in the Boardwalk Inn. They showed it to us & its very nice, I'll look for some pics to post I know I took some. However we won't be using it because I am doing the ::::no rain dance::::

It was a close call for us...I think it sprinkled that morning and then stopped...about an hour after our ceremony there was a 30 minute downpour...

LIGrumpyGirl was supposed to be married at Sea Breeze Point and ended up getting rained out (I think)...they moved her to The Attic at the Boardwalk. I think I remember her saying it was beautiful!

Thanks you for the fast response! If you find pictures please let me know. I'll be looking as well. It's currently raining where I am so it made me think about the possibility. I'll do a rain dance for you as well.

I had a Shades of Green Wedding, so I am not 100% sure how DFW deals with rainouts. I will tell you, I prayed it wouldn't rain, mom reassured me about Florida storms being short, etc... It monsooned! We watched the radar, and the storm didn't move or get smaller. Just larger and more intense. So, as much as I hated it, the wedding was moved inside. I am still bitter I didn't get my outside wedding but all that mattered was who was there and what we were doing. Good luck!!!! Be prepared with a cool umbrella if it does rain. I regret not getting a picture of me with my cool sunflower umbrella.

Nice suggestion on the umbrella, it would be a nice souvenir to get a Giant Disney umbrella!
