Hi

Not sure if his is in the right place but just wondering if anyone has been to WDW in November before?

Our trip next year is booked for 13th to 27th November and I'm wondering what the crowds / weather will be like.

Thanks

No, no one goes in November, LOL! :dance3: (Just teasing, if it's inappropriate, I will remove)

The closer you get to Thanksgiving weekend the more crowded it gets. Thanksgiving weekend itself is crazy-busy. Your last day is the Wednesday before, very, very busy at the parks.

Weather can be cool, but not cold.

The last time we were in Disney World in November, it was 2008. We went more towards the beginning of the month and stayed for 10 days. The weather was awesome (high 70's and low 80's). It rained one day for about an hour or two. It was a little crowded, but it was not close to Thanksgiving either. You will probably have more crowds, but who cares? You will be in Disney World! Fall is such a great time to visit. I have been there for all the seasons and Fall has been my favorite. It does get a little cool in the evenings, so make sure you have at least a sweatshirt or light jacket. Christmas decorations will be up too, so enjoy!

We went this past November the Saturday after thanksgiving. It was still a little crowded till Monday then it cleared out a decent amount. The weather was comfortable during the day , wire capris and shirts, but at night got chilly with a sweatshirt and jeans, some nights I had my kids winter hats on cause it was cold. Just pack s little of everything to be safe!!

Good advice! The weather can be all over the board in November - just try to be as prepared as you can.

We went in 2009- arrived the day after Thanksgiving and stayed that entire week after. It was GREAT. The mornings and later evenings were chilly, but we thought the weather was perfect overall. Then again, we are from Wisconsin. Anything over 60 in November is like a summer day to us. My kids enjoyed swimming, although it was a BIT too chilly for me. Kids could wear summer clothes in a blizzard. ;) We went to MVMCP and it was so great. We basically walked onto every ride.

We've been in Nov several times. (Though this year, we're doing US/IOA in November instead). We do the week right after T-giving or the week right before T-giving. Weather is perfect! Layers can be your friend in the morning but we normally ended up in shorts and t-shirts partway through. A jacket was needed some mornings though. We've had the occasional too hot day - like mid 80's and high humidity. We live in the southeast and the humidity that day was horrible even for us. We've had the occasional day where we wear pants all day instead of shorts. We've never had a lot of rain on our November trips. It's possible, but just a little rain here and there and mostly dry. Swimming has always been fine for us - and we're in South Carolina so we're cold weather wimps. We've also been the first-second week of December before and the weather has been fine then too, just pants a little more often.

The crowds have always been low when we've gone, not as low as end of January, but still on the low side. We're always gone well before T-giving though, leaving the Sunday before. Or don't arrive until the Sat after T-giving. We did the parks once the Sat after T-giving and it really was quite manageable - but we picked which park carefully. We do that even with the lower crowds on other days as well, so that likely makes a difference in me saying that it's not too crowded. We still tour smart - but that just means doing certain rides at certain times and figuring the rest as we go. Since we have kids, we like flexibility!

We went during the first week in Nov. last year. Some days were warm enough for shorts/t-shirts and others we had to wear pants and jackets. The kids didn't do too much swimming because it was chilly.

It was nice and sunny, if I remember correctly...just a little cooler than we expected.
