Has anyone applied Disney Visa Reward Dollars to room Reservation?

I have some reward dollars saved up and would like to apply them to my room only reservation. Does anyone know how I go about that? I know that I have to transfer the credits to a Rewards card which is similar to a gift card I believe, but then what?

My friend applied her rewards to our reservation. She just ordered the card, and transferred the dollars, then called up, and gave them the number like a credit card. It was really easy.

I used my Disney Visa Reward Dollars to pay off the balance of my room. Like the friend of the poster above (TLinden16), I just ordered by Reward Card, transfered the dollar amount, and then called it in like a credit card. You just need to tell them that you are using your reward card. Since I didn't wipe the card clean, the CM was even able to tell me how many reward dollars I had left on it.

I did it just a few weeks ago for my room. CM said she had never done it before so it took awhil but it lists on the confirmation paid.

Yes, you can use your Disney Rewards card to pay your room-balance. Many of the CMs do not know how to do it and may even tell you that you have to call a different number (happened to me). Y

ou can definitely pay with the Disney Rewards card, but they may have to go to Guest Services to learn how to take care of the payment.

My rooms (2) are paid in full but I have aobut 106.00 in Disney Visa rewards. If I give my Disney Rewards card to the CM when I check out, will the amount over be credited back to my credit card? In effect, $106.00 back to my credit card and replaced by Disney Visa Rewards?
