Has anyone actuially eaten a candy cane beignet?

I look at the DIS boards often, but I have never heard anyone say a thing about them, except that they exist. I was only able to find one bad instagram photo of one, besides everyone using the stock photo.

My sons and DH tried them, but I didn't. The coating was much finer than I expected. They were the regular beignets with powdered sugar coating that had really tiny crushed candy cane pieces to make a sort of peppermint sugar. My sons said they were good.

I had them! I really liked them, more than the regular and pumpkin beignets. As mentioned above, the candy cane is very finely crushed and is mixed with regular powdered sugar. It has a light minty taste that is quite refreshing. I shared some with my family and they really liked them too.

I'm wondering the same thing! The pictures make the candy cane look overwhelming to me but it sounds like they're a bit misleading.

Ours did not look that pink.

They didn't really look like that. Shaped like Mickey, yes, but the powder on top was mostly white, with just slight pink coloring. There also didn't seem to be that much sugar on mine (I felt I had the perfect amount - looks like too much in that photo!), but there is plenty of sugar in the bag if you are wanting more.
