Has anyone actually booked with the Disney Visa room only offer?

I called and spoke to two cast members and a supervisor. They all said that it was not available to Disney Visa card holders until 10/5, which is when my email said it goes to the public. They said it was not available to the public on 10/5.

I tried using code C58. Nothing.

My email says that its available now to Visa card holders.

Have you had success booking it??

I haven't but I'm not a Visa member. I have however seen many many posts from people saying they have successfully booked with it.

I would note that right now the reservations site is down (well it was about 5 minutes ago when I went to check something) so maybe that was the issue?
 
Is it possible you have to call Disney Visa directly instead of Disney CRO? I thought on one of the posts from another thread there was a special number to call?
 
I called the 407 number that was listed in the email. They were very short with me about it and not willing to entertain the idea that they might be wrong. All three of them said the same thing, that it wasn't offered to Visa card holders until tomorrow.

I mentioned the code C58, and they said it was not a valid code.
 

That is so strange! I just got off the phone after booking my reservations for Jan. :confused3

I called the number listed on the Disney Visa website and booked 2 different resorts with the discount (we are staying before and after our cruise).

Did you call 407-939-4989?
 
I called the day the Visa offer was released (Firday, the 30th..I think?).
(I did not receive the Chase email announcing the offer, I saw it on Mousesavers.)
I had an existing reservation at Pop for 1/3-1/9, I upgraded to BWI & got a 35% discount. It was no trouble at all, the CM knew exactly what I was talking about. I called the regular Disney reservation line.

Sorry, you are having such trouble, that's really annoying! I would keep calling. Good luck :thumbsup2
 
I was able to book today no problem - just called the number and told them I wanted to book with the Disney Visa rate. Sorry you're having such issues!
 
Over the weekend I booked a room only 35% off Visa discount at the WL. My dates of travel will be Feb.5-10, 2012. The CM I talked to knew exactly what I was talking about and I didn't have to give code.
 
I called yesterday and the CM didn't know anything about it. She asked me several times if there was a code and I told her there was no code on the e-mail. She put me on hold to "talk to the people in the back that know everything". I was on hold maybe 3 minutes and she came back and said OK - I got it now.

I would say call back. Good Luck!
 
my mom and i wanted to book our dates today before it went public, and all she had to tell the guy on the phone was that she wanted to book a room with the disney visa discount. he asked her for a 3 digit code, but she just said we want the percent off discount with disney visa and he was able to book our reservation.

don't know why they gave you the run around, that seems strange. as other posters suggested, i would say try to call again and ask a different CM, tell them exactly what the discount is and hopefully that works for you. good luck!
 
I called back just now and got a lovely CM who knew exactly what the code was and used it no problem!
