I am doing a one week raw challenge. Currently I'm on Day 3. It's been very interesting to say the least. I actually feel really good though and I don't crave food as much as I used to. I've already lost a couple pounds. I've been blogging about it so you can read in detail what I'm eating and how its going by clicking my link in the signature.

Would love to hear anyone elses experiences!

I have not tried this and really do not know much about it. I went to your blog to read what it is you are doing.

My comment, don't starve yourself. If your body thinks it is starving it will begin holding onto the weight/fat even more. Make sure whatever you are doing you look for balance of carbs/protein/fats. Raw could include that just make your best effort to get that good daily combination.

Are you logging your meal choices into one of the free web sites, like sparkpeople or fitday or something.

Balance is essential as a lifestyle in the food eaten and exercise too.

I think your eating 5-6 times a day in small portions is good.

I looked through your blog. Interesting!

And I would bet with the nuts and the olive oil (like in the chowder) that you aren't starving yourself calorie-wise. A handful of nuts is somewhere between 100 and 200 and a Tbsp of olive oil is 120, and bananas are about 100... it all adds up.

Good luck and post your results!

I went raw for a while and really love the way I feel doing it. More energy, etc....

But it is very hard to stick to if you don't stay home all the time. Eating out is difficult and going on trips is hard.
