One of the guys at Roger's shop answered the phone and I thought it was Roger and started talking to him. Roger had asked me for advice about one of his daughters (she's waiting until the night before tests/papers to do anything about them and then telling him that she didn't find out about them until that day at school.) I told him at the time that I didn't have any advice because my kids weren't to that stage yet (she's 12), but I got some advice from another friend and called back to give it to him. So, I said to this coworker of his "Remember that question you asked me about your daughter?" He was like "HUH?" I said "Is this Roger?" He said "No, I think he's gone for the day." I was so embarrassed....I said "OHMIGOD!!!!! I am so, so, so sorry." He said "don't worry about it....it's cool" but I'm still a little embarrassed. Has anybody else ever started talking to someone that they thought was someone they knew because they mistook the voice?
too funny! Once I was in the stands filming my kids at a wrestling tournament, and I was yelling for my son, then he got flipped over to his back (bad, very bad in wrestling) and I was going nuts yelling telling him to get off his back, when, my son walked up and tapped me on the shoulder and said...mom...who are you filming......OMG! I was filming and SCREAMING at somebody's elses son....I wanted to crawl under the bleachers!
