I was wondering about Tony's Town Square. Has anybody eaten here and did you like it? It is in the MK.

Yes, Tony's is in the MK just to the right as you come under the walkway once in the park. We had a party of 9 for dinner and everyone loved the things they ordered. I know there are very mixed reviews on this restaurant and I almost cancelled because of this but I'm glad we went ahead with plans to eat there. Food and service was great. We are going there for lunch on this next trip. Go on ahead and try it...I think you may like it.

My family ate there in May and had a good time. I had the Chicken Florentina and it was REALLY good. I mean REALLY! My husband had a manicotti dish which he said he enjoyed but it wasn't enough to fill him up. I probably wouldn't have been full either as it was just one tube of manicotti and a small side of something I do not remember. And we all shared a calamari appetizer. The service was hurried and not the best of our trip but it wasn't horrible. Overall we had a pleasant experience and would go here again.

I don't mean to be a wet blanket, but I really did not like the restaurant. I really wanted to like it - I love Lady & Tramp, but the food was too bland for my tastes. I had spaghetti & meatballs.I know many people love this place, but that's my 2 cents worth.

We love the Chicken Florentina here... Don't hesitate to book a Tony's reservation... it is our favorite restaurant in the MK.

After a bad experience there for dinner in 1998, we finally gave it another shot this summer for lunch. Surprisingly we enjoyed our meals here. While it wasn't the most amazing meal ever, overall everything was pretty good and we would go back again now.

I had lunch there several years ago and thought it was great. I'm going to go back again next year and see if I can figure out why people dislike it so much.

I know my husband won't go there, because their marinara sauce has lumps and garlic in it.

I think people are incredibly picky about Italian food... if it isn't the version they're used to, they hate it.

We've never had a bad meal at Tony's. We have two ADR's for our next trip in November! :yay:

We would go here again. My dh had the best steak there, truly delicious. I did have one thing I didn't like. A spinach dip appetizer. It was pretty yucky. But the entrees and desserts were great!

We didn't have any pasta, I think that is what people don't like here. But I hate spending money on pasta when it is so easy & cheap to make that for yourself at home! So we had steak & pizza. Yummy! Ooo, and the tiramasu, super yummy.

You know, that's the problem with WDW. There are literally thousands of places to eat, so they only get one chance to wow you. There are a few restaurants that I didn't like so I've never gone back. If I did, I'd probably have a different experience. That's why I take poor reviews with a grain of salt. Tony's is one of the places I haven't gone back to. JMO

I have, but it was just OK. It isn't the best Italian on WDW Property. For that, I recommend Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano at the Disney-MGM Studios. My favorite MK restaurant is the Liberty Tree. Casey's is a great quick service spot. But for a nice sit down meal, we typically leave the park and head over to the Poly Resort for Ohana's buffet!

I agree! We were very disappointed and might even prefer Ragu. :rotfl2:
