Anyone know what the Hartford airport charges for parking? We are trying to decide if it is cheaper to just stay at the Sheraton in the airport the night before with a package that inlcudes parking for up to 1 week.

Hi Jenn. I am not sure about Bradley's parking costs, but I do know there is a company that is right near the airport called Roncari and they have great rates. We have used them before and we were really happy with their service. Their shuttle runs often and for a small charge they will wash and/or detail your car while you are away. We have also stayed at a hotel (Double Tree) with a package and we were very disappointed. The hotel was nice, but we had to park our car in Oshkosh and when we came back there had been a considerable amount of snow and our car was snowed in and no one helped us dig out and when we did dig out we had a flat tire. Their shuttle to the airport was great, but we had to wait forever when we returned and that was after we called at least three times. I have recommended Roncari to others and they have never been disappointed and I would use them again in a heartbeat.

You might want to look for offsite lots via www.airportparkinglots.com
We use them for Chicago, but I know they handle other cities too. It is cheaper to get a hotel room via Hotwire and park at Avistar, where we get a special rate through the airportparkinglots.com website, than to do a park & fly package.

The long term parking lots are very inexpensive, like about 6.00 per day, the airport provides a shuttle at no cost. the shuttles run constantly.

I can't remember exactly how much it cost us. But I know it was under $50 for a whole week. My husband dropped the kids and myself at the terminal then went to park the car. He was back with us within 15 minutes. It was very convenient.

Jenn,

The Shereaton Inn at the airport is very expensive. We are staying at the Days Inn right next to Bradley the night before our trip and the rate is $84.00 instead of $179.00. As far as parking is concerned we will park at Executive Parking(WW.ExecutiveValet.com). The rates there are$34.95per week and $6.95 per day. When you drop off your car they will give you a card with a code. When your flight comes in look for the valet phones neer baggage claim and pick up the one with thier name on it. You don't have to dial anything. When they pick up tell them the code and they"ll be along shortly to pick you up. When you get to the lot the car will be up front warming up for you which is nice when you're coming back to the cold weather. Also they will bring you to the hotel the night before you're flight, and the Days Inn has a shuttle to the airport which as I said ir practically across the street.

Hopor this helps.

Have you checked out Bradley International Inn? We are leaving in a few days and the rate is $80. plus tax and you can park your car for up to 15 days for free.
They have a shuttle which drops you off & picks you up.
On the site if you click on make a reservation you can see the rates.

We are staying at the Baymont Inn, which has a park, sleep, fly deal with Piccolo parking for $99 for one night's stay + 1 week of parking. We've also parked at Roncari, and had no problem. The nice thing about Piccolo and Roncari is that they are valet, and therefore they will clean your car and bring it around to the front of the parking area so that all you have to do is drive away!!

There is a nice indoor parking garage up there called Park Place which is a little more expensive($11.00/day, I think),but the really nice thing about it is that you don't worry about your car being touched by weather at all.

All the ones I have mentioned have shuttle service to and from the airport.
