Harry Potterworld in Universal Studios

We are here now and just finished a fun-filled day at Universal Studios. But I have to admit something - I was a bit disappointed with Harry Potter World in the Islands of Adventure.

These are the things I loved:
Butter Beer - a taste of butterscotch and creamy foamy topping I loved the frozen version of this drink.

The Harry Potter Ride and walk through the castle - Loved it!

What I wished for:
More MAGIC. Okay maybe I'm jaded, but MagiQuest has HP world beat when it comes to emerging into an experience. I was hoping that the wands would work for some type of 'magical' display. But alas, they do not.

So to get my 'Magic' fix I'll keep going to MagiQuest in Myrtle Beach and save some $$.

However, I must admit that the shops, the experience was great and I'd do it again if someone offered to give me free tickets :-D

I am glad to hear what is at HP now is only phase one! We just got back from our trip and while we LOVED our time in WWOHP my daughter and I both felt there could have been so much more done with the theme. I hope a very big part of phase two includes more space. I have never seen such a crowd and I have been to LOTS of (comparably equal) theme parks, etc over the years. It felt very claustrophobic even at an hour prior to park opening.
