Harry Potter

i watched the movie to and i absolutely loved it!:lovestruc I cried a few times to,like when Neville made a speech to voldemort.:wizard:I'm so sad that its really over.:sad1:But i just loved Harry and Ginny's son,Albus Severus Potter.

I loved Snape's montage. I couldn't help but go awwwww the whole time.
That was one of my fav parts!!!
I personaly thought the way they changed Ron and Hermione's little scene (I think you know which one I mean) made it freakin' adorable. They're like all scared, then they're all giglly, I SQUEED when I saw it!!!:lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc

Frankly, I'm not a fan of the Ron/Hermione ship. I don't know, it just doesn't sit well with me. Her relationship with Harry is a bit more natural to me.

I can see where you would say that, I mean the way at the end where she tells harry she'll come with him, I think she does love him. I used to be a Harry/Hermione shipper like crazy! But that was when I was 8, and had only read the first 2 books. I think she loves both of them, but know Harry loves her like a sister, which makes her turn to Ron and realise she loves him too. That's just my theory though...

some people i have talked to said part 2 doesnt go by the book all the time is that true?

Well I didn't find that it went too far off the path. It strayed in some places, like Ron and Hermione kiss in a different part now, and Voldemort and Harry battle all over the castle, not in one spot. But, there wasn't anything I found to be a let down or anything. I thought is was brilliant! :wizard:

I've seen the Pt. 2 5 times now, since I work at a movie theatre absolutely loved it! I was pretty impressed how it wasn't far too fetched from the book, sure they left out a few parts and changed a couple of things but for the most part it was right on!

Yay HP fans!! I have been a super HP geek since the second grade, people think its crazy that i love it so much but they just dont understand!! :)
Saw the movie at midnight and thought it was the perfect 10 year closure even if they did make it different from the book...
Anyhoo, has anyone seen A Very Potter Musical?? I thought it was HILARIOUS and very well done!!

<3 Long live Harry Potter <3

I've been a fan for the longest time too!!! I learned to read at age 5 just so I could try and read the book (my dad helped me in places) I was forever known as that bookworm nerdy girl who read the Harry Potter book in Kindergarten. :sad2: But whatever, my friend was talking about a very potter musical and how she wanted to see it. It sounds great!

I LOVE AVPM and AVPS!!! Darren Criss is amazing (loved him before the rest of the Glee world did) and my friend and I can't go see the HP movies without red vines after watching the sequel. Quoting and singing them is literally how I got through gym class this year! :goodvibes

Go Starkids!! :D AVPM & AVPS are two of my favorite musicals!!! They somehow make fun of HP without putting it down! Darren Criss :lovestruc I can so happily say that I was a fan before Glee (Though I love Glee too!) :goodvibes Anyway, back to HP, I've decided I'm rereading the books before school starts! I started earlier today. I'm practically done with number one. This should be fun! :goodvibes

Went by my friends house yesterday because she desperatly wanted to watch another HP movie with me. (She had only seen numbers 1, 2 ,3 ,6, and 7)
We watched number 4, and she now hates Victor Krum, because she claims, "He blocks the pathway to my ultimate goal!!!" Her goal is for Ron and Hermione to get together finally. We had watched number 6 together the day before, and I nearly killed everyone in the room because Lavender Brown is so annoying, she sends me off the deep end. Of course my friend had found out exactly why she annoys me so much, and proceeded to hold it over my head. Oh well though, she's my best friend, what're ya gonna do? She is now positiviley DIEING to see the last one, and I agreed to go see it again with her, but now our other besties that want to see it are on vacation and we feel bad about going without them. So time will tell when we go. Sorry this post was so long, I just found what my friend said to be quite funny.

I saw the movie on opening day (Fri), and was really sad. Then as I watched I thought I was doing really well... Then Snape died and one tear fell. We saw Remus dead, and I started to sniffle (he was my favorite character). But I was impressed at myself for not crying....Then the 19 years later played, and that's when I broke. When I saw them all grown up, standing in a line, and it was really over. They were all grown up, and there were no more days at Hogwarts, and it was the last time I would be sitting in a theatre watching Harry Potter...I walked out of there a sobbing mess :sad2: I was 5 years old when I saw the first movie...I'm going to miss you Harry!!!!!!!!!

That's how I felt! My childhood was based around the books and movie. I read the 1st book at age 6, saw the first movie at around that same age, and fell in love with the setting and plot. There was one year when all of the girls my age were going trick-or-treating at cheerleaders, or fairies (or anything tight they could find:sad2:) and I went as Hermione.

Just watching the characters, and actors who play them, grow older, and more mature, and then seeing them "19 years later" killed me inside, just knowing it's over. I wish I could have never seen that scene, so their advenntures could have continued in my mind forever. I'm one of those girls who can dream up a story for anything, and I could have gone my entire life dreaming up new adventures, and romances and everything, so seeing them all grown up, and seeing the story come to such a direct halt, felt like something inside me died, but then I realised, in reality, it was something inside me being reborn, almost like Fawlks. My childhood wasn't ending, it was like, starting over again, ready for a new adventure to grip onto, those adventures will hopefully be those of my own, or those of the new generation of Potters and Weasleys. I can only hope that JK Rowling feels the same way.

~~~ That's right. I can be deep when I want to be... :angel:
When i watched part 2 of the Deathly Hallows i was so sad to see one of the twins die.I was tearing up at that part,does anyone know which twin died?I really need to know.
I love Harry Potter!
Lol,I'm sorry I just wanted to get this thread going again.
