Harry Potter

um, ok... :confused3 ...i hate the movies and the book. i dont find it interesting. i prefer other things...

I hate the movies but love the books. I think that the Mirror of Erised is a horcrux. It has Raven's feet, suggesting Ravenclaw. It comes out next summer, so I am pretty excited. Just guessing, but I am inclined to think that Harry will live through the final book, contrary to what lots of people say. :wizard:

wow i didnt even think of that

i figured out where the locket horcrux is :D

^Do you think that it's the one they found in Sirius's house while they were cleaning, suggesting that Regulus Black is R.A.B.?
Lots of evidence points that way, but it just seems a tad too obvious.

yea thats what ive been thinking

it has to be it just fits together too well

Do you think that Snape is good or bad?
I kind of think that he is neither a villain nor a 'good guy.' He serves his own interests.

I'll share my other horcrux theory. Voldemort presumable has to be able to access the horcruxes, so there has to be some way to get to them without endangering himself. What if one horcrux was the key to the next? Maybe if you drink the potion from the cave that hid the locket in Hufflepuff's cup, it won't harm you. The Hepzibah Smith character said thatthe cup had untapped magical powers.

Ohmmygosh. wow i haven't thought about what the horcruxes might be, or where. But I absolutley love the books and personally, i think the books are better than the movies. But that's just my opinion. I have never liked, or disliked Snape. He just kinda is like there, but sometimes I'm like AAHHH I HATECHUU SNAPEE!! Haha, so yeah i'm a bit of an avid fan. I mean I yell at books, I've heard of people yelling at their tvs, I just tend to yell at my books. :confused3 Haha ohhh welll.

I know! Sometimes I think that Harry is such a moron! Especially on second readings-you know what will happen and you don't want it to happen.
I like the books better too. The first two were okay, but then we had to deal with the Alfonso Cuaran Massacre. It's really not enough to see the movies and not the books. You miss a huge percentage of the story.I think the problem is that there is simply too much information to be compressed into a 2.5 hour movie.

You're a smarty pants.

I love the books and the movies. Except for the third movie. I wanted to puke after it. And that's saying something, because I'm emitophobic.

Anyway, what's everyone's favorite book or movie so far?

This is my favorite series of books.
I am obsessed, but I do like to take the time in between books to enjoy real life, and I use my OCD of it before and after it comes out. I can't spend two years sleuthing away at it, I get bored easily.

I personally have a theory about Dumbledores "death." I don't think he's dead. He's the best wizard in the world, he could do some kind of spell to make him appear dead. Why would he do that? So he could chase Voldemort. I think too much. ;)

I like the first and second books the best. The majority of people say they like the third best, but not me. My least favorite was number five. Some of the information was just too superfluous. I love the HP books, and I can't believe that I am saying this, but it was too long for what it was.
So my rankings:
1st and 2nd) Sorcerer's Stone and Chamber of Secrets
3rd) Goblet of Fire
4th) Prisoner of Azkaban
5th) Half-Blood Prince (This is low because my favorite character, Dumbledore died, and Harry's behavior was irritating and annoying.)
6th) Order of the Pheonix

Movies:
I can's say I like any besides the first two, and Chamber of Secrets movie was really only so-so.
