I LOVELOVELOVE Harry Potter. Did I mention I love Harry Potter? That I've read all the books 6 times and seen the movies over and over over? Yeah. Like major geekdom fangirl here. So. Fiance and I are honeymooning in Disney in November. And I was thinking about a day in IOA to check out Harry Potter. The catch is, I'll be about 5 months pregnant. Is it worth the cost? I t would mean and extra night in a hotel, plus admission to the park. I don't know much about IOA, I plan to skip out of here and start reading up. But the main attraction for me is Harry Potter, cuz, well, did I tell you I LOVE Harry Potter?

Whatchya think? Is it worth it for a preggo? popcorn::

Myself, I wouldn't hesitate but then I rode my horse right up to delivery two times...;)

IMO yes it would be totally worth it! HP seems to be an excellent attraction for 'viewing' I bet I could spend half a day there just walking through the town and snacking on treats (lol);).

IOA it's self would also be fun just to walk through, even if you aren't riding the rides.

As long as you are feeling well, 5 months is a really good time, for me anyway, I wasn't sick anymore or as tired but wasn't so huge I couldn't have a good time.

Heehee I'm doing my happy dance here!! :dance3::dance3::dance3:

I can't decide what's more exciting... getting married... a week at DIsney.. or an afternoon at World of Harry Potter!!

:rotfl:

I wouldn't be riding any rides but it is a really cool place to walk though. You can walk through the queue of Hogwarts even, and it is amazing.

I went to US/IOA with the family when I was 7 1/2 months pregnant in July and was fine, but, I'm also one of those lucky ones who never has any symptoms of being pregnant. I was just so happy to be there even the heat and humidity didn't bother me LOL

So if you were asking me, I'd say yes. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the park and take all the time you want absorbing all of the details that Hogwarts has to offer :goodvibes

From one Potter geek to another I say yes it is very much worth it. Now you shouldnt ride the Forbidden Journey, not with that harness pressed tight to your belly and the movements. But if you're a true Potter nerd the ride is honestly not the highlight of the area. You'll love just walking through Hogwarts and the shops and being immersed in Hogsmeade. I spent hours just wandering from shop window to shop window and checking out all the little details. I say go for it, if for anything just to shop(it's a Potter nerd's shopping paradise). Grab a butterbeer(frozen is the best) and watch the Frog Choir and the Tri-Wizard Dancers, have lunch or dinner in the Three Broomsticks, and take in a Ollivanders show which may be short and you might not get picked but it's just plain cool to be in there. Without having to rush to get on all the rides in WWoHP and beyond you can really taking Hogsmeade at a slow and relaxing pace and just soak it all in. Sure the area is not huge but I happily spent many hours of many days exploring. Have a great trip.
