My parents have a wedding in Orlando and are planning on going to Universal for a day just to see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. They're not theme park or ride people, so they're just going to the HP section. I'm trying to put together a touring plan for them, but don't have much experience with Universal in the way that I have strategies and tips for Disney. I would appreciate any info and tips (and edits to the below) that you have. I left out the roller coasters since they don't like those. And I'm also going to tell them to make sure they really explore and take in the details since that's the best part.

- Get to Universal at 8:30am (park opens at 9am)
- Go into Islands of Adventure first
- Ride Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey
- Take the Hogwarts Express to Diagon Alley
- Look at the Knight bus on the way into Diagon Alley
- Ride Escape from Gringotts
- See the Ollivanders show
- Explore Diagon Alley and Knockturn Alley
- Take the Hogwarts Express back to Hogsmede
- Explore Hogsmede

Thank you for your help!!

Thanks! Is there somewhere they can ask about the schedule when they get there or does it just happen periodically throughout the day?

all I would add, is make sure they start at whichever park, does not have early entry that day.
