Harry Potter tour

Our appetite for Harry Potter has been whetted this weekend as we have just visited Harry Potter Tour in London yesterday - took loads of photos and would post some of them on here as I thought they might interest some of the US folks - unsure where to post though - mods if I am wrong in posting this here, please remove.

Highlights were seeing the Night bus used in the film, seeing the 'real' Great Hall in the movies, seeing a wonderful huge model of Hogwarts, seeing audioanimatronics of Buckwheat etc, Diagon Alley, Hagrids Hut etc. and drinking butterbeer somewhere outside of Universal Studios

Off to Orlando and PFB next month and excited to see 2 Harry Potter 'worlds' in a month.

Ooooh I'd love to see them also! We were in London last month and really wanted to do the tour, but I felt bad doing it without the kids! (It was an adult vacation, lol) I bet it was fantastic!!

Was the Butterbeer served there the same as it is at Universal?

We didnt think the butterbeer was quite so good and they didnt have a frozen version - maybe it just tastes better in the Florida sunshine (instead of the London cold rain)

Just trying to work out techie things with the photos then I will post a few.

I'm going over in the fall. The wait is driving me crazy, especially when I look at the tickets. I've heard the butterbeer tastes different but it might just be the water as it's supposed to be the same formula as Universal. When I first moved over to the States from the U.K. I spent months complaining about the water here tasting strange.
