Harry Potter rides - not roller coaster people

I am a certified thrill ride chicken, so am chiming in.
I cannot ride Forbidden Journey at all. Did it once and that's it. The ride arm that your bench sits on goes every which way and it is Not pleasant. I got nauseated and very dizzy from that one. I also felt like we were going to tip over on our backs, and that is not a good sensation. I really stress that this ride might not be one for kids (or for most adults for that matter) Nothing about it is smooth or fun, to me.
However, GRingotts is fabulous, even for a chicken like me. There's not enough of a "drop" to complain about. It's a lot of fun and I never get sick or dizzy riding it. The ride que is amazing and not to be missed.
Hagrids was very fast, surprisingly so, for me. I guess I was expecting something more sedate. It explodes with fast energy like a roller coaster. I would probably ride it again now that I know what to expect. For kids? I wouldn't have them do it unless they are fearless and like coasters that excelerate quickly.
I also thought the Mummy was a little jerky and more coaster like than I remember it being. However, it was fun.
Hope all works out well for you.

I'm not a huge fan of coasters. I was fine with Hagrid's but only in the Side car not the motorcycle part. I really like Flight of the Hippogriff. And I LOVE love Gringotts. Forbidden Journey is not a roller coaster per say. And the theming of the castle is just incredible. Good thing is that the Harry Potter areas is heavily themed. I love waking around both areas so much. Diagon Alley is my favorite area.

Big Thunder mountain the is the most I can take at Disney so that will pinpoint where my line is. Let me put it this way. You will never catch me on the Hulk coaster ever.

Just wanted to echo that it is worth it to do the Castle tour even if you don’t want to ride. It was worth it! You can take your bags with you and do not need a locker. You will just have multiple employees ask you if you’re riding when they see your bag, but it’s no big deal.

My opinions on intensity: Hagrid's is like Everest/Tron, FOP is like Forbidden Journey with more physical movement so more intense (if they won't do FOP or don't like it, I do not think there is any way they'd like Forbidden Journey), Flight of Hippogriff is like Barnstormer or 7dmt, and Gringotts is like a mild Guardians so less intense similar to Space Mountain intensity.

My daughter was 10 last time and she did everything but Hagrid's and loved them all. She will not do Everest or Tron but loves FOP & Big Thunder for examples of equivalent intensity.
