Harry potter ride not for large riders

I hope that everyone has read this....

All of this fuss over a ride that hasn't even opened yet. I think that some people just look for things to be upset about.

All the "fuss" may be the reason they decided to add larger seats. Idk if its true they will have larger seats by Dec or not but I find it hard to believe they would not just build them originally into the ride after all this planning and need more time to get it done.

Then again these are internet forums...This is where you go to fuss about stuff you dislike.

I remain neutral on the subject but I do find it odd that if they were plannin larger seats from the beginning then it most likely could of been done in time for ride opening.

Since size might be an issue, is it possible they'll have a test seat outside so you'll know before going in if you can ride it or not? I don't know if this is something Universal does or not.

It is already there. Many Universal rides have test seats.

Please forgive me if this has been addressed...I read most of the pages, but find myself short on time and the topic got waaaay off....

I find it hard to comprehend they would design it to not be inclusive for all. weight in our society today)

Just goes to show a company that as a priority on family experiences like Disney will always outclass upstarts like Universal.

Universal doesn't set the height requirements....the people who design & build the RIDE do. So, I wouldn't blame UNIVERSAL if you cannot ride. Would you blame DISNEY if they built a ride you couldn't ride on?

Wow. This OP will simply not accept the fact that ANYTHING could possibly be on caliber with the almighty warlock Disney. I'd rather watch a sunset on the beach with a significant other than be at Disney. I know, shoot me. Disney hides a lot of things. 99% of their attractions are not made by Imagineers. They simply hire a seperate company to design the ride and install it and make the ride work, then they're the ones who theme it up with the storyline.

Then Disney PAYS the manufacturer to keep quiet that they're the one who designed the ride, to make it seem that everything Disney does was in house. Those companies who make the rides are the ones who who set the height requirements. Disney would be VERY STUPID to go under those height requirements.

Also, you're being ridiculous about the vehicle's being too small. They have to be safe. These vehicles are putting you on the end of a robotic arm while moving along a track, you HAVE the be safe on these things. Too big of a seat will cause those just above the 48 inches to slide around too much, and too small will upset people such as yourself. They have to make a happy medium, which is probably enough stress as it is. Now they have to deal with people like you who will probably go to Guest Services and complain to them about the seats being too small, yelling at the people who didn't have anything to do with the ride's design. Do them a favor and keep it to yourself. Or just stay at Disney.

I can't see this thread going anywhere but downhill so I'm going to close it.
