Thought i'd bump this up to say that the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is open to hotel guests since last Friday, in case you haven't heard already.

Something I noticed from videos and pictures and stuff:

In Forbidden Journey, Hagrid has lost a dragon, and it chases you around for a while and a giant AA dragon head blows "fire" (just red steam) at you. Over at Flight of the Hippogriff, you pass Hagrids hut. Outside, you see a box labelled "Baby Norwegian Ridgeback". Pretty awesome link.

I'm going to WWOHP this summer.
I'm so excited, it's going to be insanely crowded though.
I'm going to buy a wand, and so much candy it's crazy.

I would love to go to WWOHP on my next trip, but I fear the crowds... The shops are tiny. Ollivanders can only fit 25 people in (and only one person gets to do the whole wand thing). I'd much rather wait until we go at a quieter time.

I've seen pictures of the Universal store in Orlando airport and it has a bunch of things from WWOHP. A few toys, some character wands, shirts and sweets. I'll get some sweets from there so I can have a little experience...

I wish I could go. I'm going to WDW in the first couple weeks of August but my family refuses to take time away from that to go to Universal. But after all I've heard about it and how crazy the lines are going to be (5 hours they are predicting for Forbidden Journey) it may be for the better that I wait a few years before going down to blow my life savings on everything

I think if anyone can answer my question, you guys can. How do you play Muggle Quittich? (spelled wrong, I know) I was invited to play it with some friends next week and all they told me was to bring a broom. I've heard of it before, I just don't know how it's played.

They just showed the trailer on MTV movie awards... it showed Harry setting Hedwig free from the Dursleys, which must mean she doesn't die.
That death is actually very significant, it marks the end of Harry's childhood.

What?!? Sure that will save me a bunch of crying when I go see the movie but still...that is a pretty important event to cut from the movie that they said they aren't cutting anything from

Maybe. Like it's not like I want Hedwig to die, but still. I want it to be true to the books...

I think Hedwig will die. Even if Harry does set her off, I don't believe she'd just do what he says if she knows Harry is in trouble. I can't really assume from that clip that she doesn't die, because I don't know what Harry is doing. Plus, I trust WB knows what they are doing with this and I doubt they would leave any deaths out of it.

The trailer was good.
