Harry Potter News?

Hi people!

Does anyone know anything about how fast the Harry Potter Island construction is going? Any news on the opening dates?

Originally they mentioned late 2009 / early 2010, but currently it seems 2009 was crossed out and it should open in 2010, but no idea which month or at least season...

I'm planning a new trip to Orlando for next year (we're thinking Jan-Feb 2010 so far), but we would like to go and be able to enjoy this new island as well (so if this island is more likely to be under construction still at that time we can plan it for late 2010 or early 2011).

I would aim for late 2010 early 2011 Just to be safe!!

If anything if does open ealier the crowds might slim off a bit(doubtful)!!

HP is gonna be A huge Hit,and the crowds will be there!!imo For A long time..

I imagine, that is why we plan on either going in the first half of December (been there 3 times already in this time of year and it is wonderful with all Xmas decorations and not too crowded) or going in January (never been in Orlando in this time of year, but I've read crowds are even lower).

I'm thinking HP will be open sometime next summer...I doubt if it would be before then. I'm sure Universal wants to make sure everything is just right before they unveil anything. Many eyes will be watching.
