Harry Potter Crowds and Mardi Gras 3-23

Hello everyone, I'm very exciting to be visiting IOA on March 23...however, with it being during Spring Break and Universal's Mardi Gras celebration I'm very concerned the Harry Potter attractions will be overcrowded. Does anyone know what time would be best to do these rides? Early morning or during the parade times? We are not interested in seeing the floats or the concert, but will be hittin up the after party at CityWalk...thanks for the help

Considering you're visiting during Spring Break, both parks will be very busy. Mardi Gras festivities are located in the Studios park and IoA crowds aren't generally affected. For HP...shoot for early afternoon instead of first thing in the morning. Let the onsite guests get in and out and then you could wander in. Just keep checking wait times throughout the day and when they seem low, head over to HP. CityWalk will be a madhouse in the evening so be prepared for lots and lots of people!

if parry hotter is the main reason to visit UO, i would just bite the bullet and go early when the park is opened to the public.

you'll have a wait at opening time but with it being spring break, you'll have a wait at anytime in that period.


you said potter and city walk are on your agenda.

you could get both of those things done even with crowds.
