Any plus sizers ride forbidden journey? How do the seats compare to other Universal or Disney rides

Just posted mine. Click here for photos and pics. It focuses on the ride, but more will be coming over the next few days. We still have one more day to spend there (tomorrow morning).

They are not being consistent at all right now. We had someone in are party slightly on the larger size and she was not allowed on the ride. She even waited through the entire queue before being refused. Another person behind us was allowed on the ride on Saturday then refused on Sunday.

In my opinion they are still figuring out the size issue with the ride but if I had to give an opinion I'd say they are being very cautious with who they are letting on. Be prepared if you test out the ride vehicle outside and it's a tight fit, you may get through the entire queue and be refused to be allowed to ride.

And it sounds like the ride ran well yesterday and so far today. Glad they are getting the kinks worked out but I hope that these guests will be able to ride soon because that sounds really frustrating.

I'm sorry to hear that. It's a bummer to exclude people. DH is 5'10" about 195 lbs so I think he'll be ok, DSis is about a size 18 or 20 and 5'5", I was wondering how it would affect her.

I would recommend that anyone in your party that you are unsure of tries the test seats outside the gates. That way they don't have to be embarassed by the TMs pulling them out of the line once they've gone all the way thru the castle. If they know the light won't turn green no matter how hard they try to pull, push or suck in, then they can exit at the chicken exit and avoid embarassment.

Fitting in the test seat outside won't necessarily keep you from getting pulled inside to test. My husband was pulled inside on Sun. (but not Mon.). He is big but not huge, but he has a barrel chest so I'm guessing that's why.
