Harmony Barber Shop costs

We're planning on getting my son's first hair cut at the barber shop, and I want to get my daughter's hair done too (just an up-do with gel and glitter - no hair cut). Anyone know how much they charge just to style a girl's hair?

I know the adult price is $19, I think the child price is $14. If they do coloring only (and not cutting) for children I think it is $7.50. And if you just wander in for Pixie (or Pirate) Dust it is free.

One important thing to remember at the MK Barber Shop. When they removed the old antique cash register and put in a terminal to allow use of credit cards and hotel charges and the like they hooked into The Emporium's network. The register, unlike ones in table service restaurants, cannot handle tips as part of the transaction.

So if you are planning on using the Harmony Barber Shop please be aware that if you are using any sort of card you cannot add a tip on the card and should have cash available for tipping.

It was $18 for First Hair cut and $15 for basic child's haircut when DD had hers done last year.

It's $18 for their first hair cut. You get the hair cut, a certificate and first hair cut mouse ears. I thought the whole experience was WONDERFUL and a great deal. We would have paid at least $20 to get it cut here at home and would have just gotten a hair cut.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but how old are babies when they usually get their first haircuts? We just had our first baby in April, but are planning a January trip. Is that too early to get it done?

My son is 17 months now, and honestly he could use one now but I'm going to try to stretch it out till Sept. He just has some curls on the back that are getting kind of long for a boy

My daughter was at least a year old when she got her first hair cut.. maybe like 18 months. But, she was bald when she was born and stayed that way for a long time. It depends on how your baby's hair grows.
