We've had, and have an upcoming, ADR for 5. Our 3 kids can fit in one (front) car seat while DH and I sit in another. No problem with us because we can keep an eye on them - and the break is often welcome on both sides
. I really think that a 2 yr old could sit with parents, honestly. DH and I weren't squished or anything and if our youngest had been younger, and needed assistance, he would have sat with us just fine.
A lot of the popular restaurants are pretty loud, which makes conversation difficult. I wouldn't let the seating arrangement deter you, necessarily. Quieter dining is kinda nice after all of the activity from the parks.
