Is it generally hard to book a AKL Savanna View Kidani room during the first week or two of December if you call at 11 months out? :confused3

We always go to WDW in December, we have been speaking to a CM about DVC and that was one of the questions my husband posed to me. ;)

Generally speaking, the first two weeks of December are a very busy time for DVC resorts. Having said that, I don't think you'll have a problem if you call at 11 months. AKL Kidani has a lot of savanna views available, so unless you are trying for a GV, you should be able to get what you need.

Now, if you are buying right now and would like to stay THIS December (2010), I think it might be difficult for you because it is already May. If you are wanting to buy and that reservation is important to you, let your guide know.

Good luck with your purchase!

Good to know. We are not planning on going this year, so we would definitly have the 11-month window. :)

You will not have a problem if you call when your 11 month window opens.

We just stayed the week after Thanksgiving/ Part of the week was Nov, part was December. I think we checked out 12/5 ---I called at the 11 month window and had NO PROBLEM getting a 1BR savannah View.... I dont know if it is how the resort is set up or what, I know it is a VERY busy time, but it was soooooooo quiet.

I called at the 11-month window last year for the second week of December and had no problem. I think at the bigger resorts like AKL, SSR and OKW use of that 11-month window has a definite advantage. It might be tougher to book at the smaller resorts for popular times, though.
